Our History
The Oak Village Women's Club was founded in 1984 with the purpose of providing a place where new residents to the community could come to meet and make new friends. To this day, that is still the focus. The Oak Village Women's Club is primarily a social club and is open for all women residing in the communities of Sugarmill Woods which covers Oak Village North and South, Southern Woods, Cypress Village, Royal Dalton House and Deer Park Cottages.

We focus on having fun as well as supporting local charities including Jessie’s Place, Citrus Blessings, and Precious Paws. Some of our activities normally include group outings such as kayaking, day trips to theme parks, theaters, and various restaurants.
We also have small groups that participate in bunco, book clubs, garden club and more. Our monthly luncheons are lots of fun with good food, informative speakers and entertainment. We also coordinate fundraisers for charity (our largest is a huge raffle basket and craft fair fundraiser in the fall).
We conduct our monthly business luncheons from September through May. Membership is $20.00 annually and includes a directory. If you are interested in more information, please see our membership page (last tab on the website).
We hope to see you at one of our luncheons in the future!
And we are maintaining our responsibility regarding COVID-19 by safe distant seating. Masks are optional and considered as a fashion accessory.
