The Oak Village Women's Club was founded in 1984 with the purpose of providing a place where new residents to the community could come to meet and make new friends.  To this day, that is still the focus.  The Oak Village Women's Club is primarily a social club and is open for all women residing in the communities of Sugarmill Woods which covers Oak Village North and South, Southern Woods, Cypress Village,  Royal Dalton House and Deer Park Cottages.
We focus on having fun as well as supporting local charities including Jessie’s Place, Citrus Blessings, and Precious Paws.  Some of our activities normally include group outings such as kayaking, day trips to theme parks, theaters, and various restaurants.
We also have small groups that participate in bunco, book clubs, garden club and more.  Our monthly luncheons are lots of fun with good food, informative speakers  and entertainment.  We also coordinate fundraisers for charity (in normal times, our largest is a huge raffle basket fundraiser in the fall).

We usually conduct our month business luncheons from September through May (refer to our message below regarding Covid-19).  If you are interested in more information, please see our membership page (last tab on the website).
We hope to see you at one of our luncheons in the future!

Maria Shriver reminds us...

“When the world is so complicated,
the single gift of friendship is within all of our hands.”

We are a social group that normally meets once a month for lunch from September through May. However, due to COVID-19, we will not be having our large group luncheons, but will continue some small group activities such as Bunco, and a few online activities.  Please see our "Announcements" page for more information.

Our yearly dues are $20.00 which covers the months of September through May.  Due to COVID-19, those who have paid their 2020-2021 dues will not have to pay the 2021-2022 dues.  We are hoping by then we will be able to start up our monthly luncheon meetings in addition to our small group activities.

Please see our COVID 19 Update below this information.
